You have nearly the same mobility in Origins as City even though the world has been scaled up, which is a bit of an issue in particular. Arkham Knight is, if nothing else, ambitious in expanding on Arkham City and its systems. It's still a great game, but it being so reliant on Arkham City holds it back (although I understand it just wouldn't have been made otherwise). Better in some ways but not overall, and not gameplay-wise. The best parts of the game are indoors, anyways.Ĭan't say I agree with anybody saying it's better than Arkham Knight though. If I had any complaints they would be that the main game is kind of short and rushes to the end (especially noticeable on replays) and that the overworld/traversal is a bit awkward. I'm very glad that they actually did justice to Bane in this one. Cutscenes are great, the voice performances are maybe the best they've ever been in the series, and the characterizations are excellent. It's a very well-done and interestingly distinct prequel to the Arkham games. When I first played it on console it was very buggy and that distracted a lot, but I downloaded it on Steam last year and had an awesome time (even got all of the achievements). There are some rumors about a remaster of the game btw, let's see what happens but it would be a good opportunity for people to discover this title The music btw is one of the best soundtracks in gaming history, there are so many moments where the music blends with the gameplay in awesome ways, I love itĪnyway I really hope that if you haven't play this game, you give it a chance, is not perfect and it certainly have flaws but I think it's extremely underrated and it deserved better scores

On pc at 4k with all settings in ultra, the game looks really good Graphics wise, the game was criticized for looking relatively worse than the previous games but the art direction is very strong and pleasant to the eye and I think that it holds up pretty well. I love the missions in interiors too, particularly the mission in the police station, a lot of work went into make interiors design great for sure There was some criticism with the map being a little bit empty but honestly I think it's really good and well done, and it's easy to memorize each location. The deathstroke fight in particular is super memorable, you feel each punch, and the camera work is great

The villains are very well represented as well and seeing a young Joker is a breath of fresh air Batman is so angry in this game and I love it.
